Hello! I'm so glad you're interested in auditioning for Vermillion Community Theatre's production of The Little Mermaid! Auditions will be on April 26th at 1:00pm at Trinity Lutheran Church. Please prepare one of the vocal selections below that best showcases your voice and your ability to tell a story. If you would like to play a principal/named character, please prepare "One Step Closer" or "If Only" and if you're only interested in auditioning for the ensemble or if you're under the age of ten, please prepare the cut below from "Under the Sea." The auditions will consist of a singing portion and a dance portion. We will also measure everyone for costumes. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in.

General Information:
This production features roles for actors of all genders and ages, and includes both singing and non-singing roles. This show has room for young actors, provided they have completed kindergarten.

Audition Information:
Auditions will be Sunday, April 26th at 1 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Audition Materials:
You should show up at your audition having printed and filled out the following forms:

• Rehearsal Conflict Calendar
• VCT Photo Release and Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement Form

Those auditioning should be prepared to perform assigned selections from the musical which are posted here in both written and audio formats.

Call Backs:
Callbacks will be Wednesday, May 6th from 6-10 pm at the Arena Theatre at USD and may include acting exercises consisting of improvisations and cold readings from the script. More specific information about callback times will be posted.
